Pilea Peperomioides, affectionately nicknamed 'UFO Plant', 'Chinese Money Plant', 'Friendship Plant' and 'Pancake Plant', is a real curiosity. It has a funky crown of round leaves and with time little babies will pop out of the soil and grow entire new plants.
💧 Water once the soil has dried out at least halfway. They are susceptible to overwatering over winter. Over summer they should not dry out completely.

Over winter some leaf drop can occur from the lower leaves. This is entirely natural and you should only be concerned if the leaf drop seems excessive; in which case you should check for mushy roots i.e. root rot.
