Sansevieria aka Snake Plants are some of the easiest houseplants to care for. They require little natural light and water to survive, making them perfect for a dark corner or draughty hallway.
The 'Straight' cultivar is as characterful as it is robust, with thick, pointed stems that seemingly stand to attention. Because of its hardy nature, this snake plant makes an ideal gift for an indoor gardening newbie or as an addition to an already thriving indoor jungle.
๐ง Water every 3-4 weeks over winter, and in summer water once the soil has dried out completely. Treat me like a succulent and you canโt go far wrong!
๐ They do best in bright light but can tolerate low light (just don't expect fast growth!).
